Trystan Reese is a renowned thought leader, storyteller, and author within the fields of diversity, equity, and inclusion. With a background as a professionally trained anti-racism facilitator and curriculum designer, Trystan's commitment extends beyond the classroom. He has spent nearly two decades organizing within trans communities across the country, playing a pivotal role in the fight for LGBTQ+ rights and justice.

When his unique transgender pregnancy story gained international recognition in 2017, Trystan's personal narrative captured hearts and headlines worldwide, leading to prominent speaking engagements, including closing performances for The Moth Mainstage across the United States. His compelling storytelling, combined with a unique perspective on LGBTQ+ issues, has been featured in global media platforms such as CNN, NBC, People, and Buzzfeed, further amplifying his message of love, resilience, and inclusivity.

As the founder of Collaborate Consulting, Trystan leverages his extensive experience to provide bespoke training programs tailored to promote social justice and LGBTQ inclusion across various sectors. His workshops and keynotes have enlightened medical professionals, corporate teams, and community leaders, fostering environments of acceptance and understanding. Trystan is also an accomplished author, with publications including his reflective narrative, "How We Do Family," an inspiring children’s book, "The Light Of You," and the inclusion of his essay, “Expecting,” in the brand-new 2024 anthology released by The Moth: “A Point Of Beauty.”

Residing in Portland, Oregon, Trystan cherishes life with his partner Biff and their three children: Riley, Sully, and Leo. Together, they embody the values of diversity, acceptance, and love that Trystan advocates for in his professional and personal endeavors.
